Eco-warrior Brad Pitt is so appalled by the bp oil disaster in the gulf of mexico he wants those responsible for the chaos to be executed.
The movie star insists he's an opponent of the death penalty, but he'd make an exception for the bp bosses behind the 100-day-plus oil leak, which has become America's greatest environmental disaster.
Wildlife and marine creatures were killed as the oil flooded into the sea, and fishermen and those reliant on tourism throughout the Gulf region were left struggling to make ends meet.
And Pitt is calling for strong action when it comes to dealing with those responsible for the disaster.
Speaking on director Spike Lee’s If God Is Willing and Da Creek Don’t Rise documentary about New Orleans, which aired on HBO in the U.S. and Canada on Monday night, the actor declared, "I was never for the death penalty before, but I am willing to look at it again."
Pitt, who owns property in New Orleans, is one of the brains behind the Make it Right initiative to create safe, green housing developments in the city in the wake of Hurricane Katrina five years ago.

Re: Brad Pitt
You're appalled?
Brad Pitt may be a movie star, and yes, may have made his money as an actor, but he is an influential person in today's society and we need more people of this known stature speaking out about things like this!
What exactly in this article bothers you? Is your opinion based solely on the fact that Brad Pitt is an actor?
Brad PItt
I'm appalled at the fact that this investment organization is printing anything that Brad Pitt or any other movie star has to babble about and I do mean babble. Just because he has lots of money and stardom does not by any means mean he is knowledgable about world problems or anything concerning big business. He has made his money by acting which means he is just that, an actor and nothing else plus the fact he has a lot of money and time on his hands.I give him credit for his acting and the fact that he is using his nororiety to help the people affected by Katrina but he and you should just leave it at that.
